About BetaKap

BetaKap, also known as Bob Kohnen, is a Luxembourg-based producer and songwriter with a passion for electronic music. His story is one of rediscovery and reignited passion.

As a teen in the 90s, he dabbled with music-making software, but the spark faded. Nearly three decades later, learning guitar rekindled that creative fire. A basic DAW opened the door again, and by January 2024, music production became his obsession. Rediscovering the soaring melodies of 90s trance, he knew this was the sound he wanted to contribute to.

Since then, BetaKap has released multiple tracks — first independently, then on labels such as Technological Records, G-Mafia Records, Almighty1 Music, and Housewood Records. His catalog includes Trance, Progressive & Deep Trance, Techno and House songs.

But his creativity doesn’t stop there. In summer 2024, he ventured into pop-EDM with The Hope Trilogy — a vocal-driven project fusing trance energy with modern pop. The first track, Brave New World, is already out, Cosmic Sea as a sequel, and Seeds of Dawn as a conclusion around Christmas 2025.

Driven by a passion for keeping the golden-era trance vibe alive while exploring new sounds, BetaKap continues to innovate and share his journey with listeners worldwide.
